Roy Clarence Payne, age 80, of Tunnel Hill passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lola Mae Payne; children, Darrell and Timothy Payne; his siblings, Edith Mason, Cecil Payne, Gertrude Hughes, and Johnny and Aubry Payne.

He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Payne; children, Melissa (Wesley) Williams, and Anthony Payne; sisters, Ann Payne, Edna (Jake) Duncan, and Carolyn Duncan; grandchildren Tiffany, Brandon, Zachary, Emily, and Jacob Payne, Takoda, and Lydia Williams, Jonathan McGill, and Franklin Fortner; great-grandchildren, Jayvin Honea, Alyssa and Ava Payne, Tracy Lawton, Serenity and Dylan Fortner, Mark and Kaylen Todd, Takoa Standridge.

A visitation to honor the life of Roy Clarence Payne will be from 11 am to 2 pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. The interment will be at 2 pm in the Center Valley Cemetery.
