Stephen Hughes Obituary

Stephen Douglas Hughes, age 72 of Chatsworth, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 28, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.
He is preceded by his parents, Troy and Willa Nell Hughes; brothers, Brownell and Richard Hughes; sisters, Patricia McCord, Bobbie Pounds, and Linda Gaskins Anglin; nephew-in-law, Creg Kendrick; and brother-in-law, Steven Gaskins.
He is survived by his sister, Janet Francis, brother-in-law Frank McCord, Henry Pounds; friend like a brother, Perry Tanner, several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
